Band of the Week 7/30/2012 – Vox Vera!
This week’s Radio OPIE Band of the Week is Vox Vera.
Vox Vera
A classic power trio, St. Clair Shores-based Vox Vera has been tearing up the Radio OPIE People’s Choice Countdown since we received their tunes a few months ago. We here at the station have quickly become addicted to their power pop/alternative rock sound. Vox Vera brings back the post-grunge sound of the mid-to-late 1990′s and gives it a modern edge. The band features James Kline on guitar and vocals, David Wyatt on bass and Adrian Berch on drums.
We recently had the pleasure of checking them out at Small’s in Hamtramck and they kick ass live, too! If you get a chance to see these guys live, we highly recommend it!
